There’s one thing all of us who work in foodservice can agree on – and that’s the importance of sustaining our industry. To ensure a strong future for foodservice we need to inspire and encourage our upcoming apprentices and passionate young chefs to stay in the industry. This is why Australian Pork partners with the Australian Culinary Federation (ACF) in events and activities like culinary competitions, International Chefs Day and industry dinners.
As the nation’s largest industry body representing professional chefs, cooks, apprentices and culinary students, the ACF is devoted to assisting members to advance their professional skills and knowledge while forming a strong community of like-minded people. ACF engages in both social and professional networking and is committed to encouraging industry-wide solidarity and collaboration with a diverse range of professionals.
Becoming a member of the ACF brings access to a myriad of opportunities for professional development – from workshops, masterclasses and culinary competitions to exclusive networking opportunities that give you the chance to meet and connect with like-minded industry professionals. If you or your staff are not members, why not join up and help support our industry? And if you are, check whether you could become more involved – the ACF offers plenty of potential!
