Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&CA) is the national industry association representing the interests of more than 47,000 restaurants, cafés and catering businesses across Australia and have played a pivotal role in lobbying the Government for our industry and creating a roadmap to easing restrictions. As part of this they have developed Covid-19 Hospitality Best Practice Training and Guidelines. Please see the below:

 

R&CA's COVID-19 Hospitality Best Practice Training helps hospitality businesses understand their obligations and best practice operations for themselves and their employees. Included is a Hospitality Business Blueprint, Templates and a Micro-Credential Training Badge.

In recent days, some States have made COVID-19 Training mandatory for businesses, whereas NSW are yet to announce guidelines for venues returning to in-venue dining. R&CA have released some best practice COVID-19 Safe guidelines and training.

These best practice guidelines ensure businesses are as safe as possible in a post COVID-19 world. Whilst not being mandatory, R&CA believes adherence to these guidelines gives businesses the best opportunity to show the dining public that their venue is safe and welcoming for dine-in customers and sets a practicable set of recommendations that can be adopted within their business at short notice.
