There’s no doubt about it. Bacon is a much loved, iconic ingredient in Australia - yet what most people aren’t aware of is that 80% of the bacon sold here is made from imported pork. And as we’re sure you’ll agree, that leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
 
So we’re taking action and we want your help.
 
Mark your calendars for August 31, as we celebrate International Bacon Day with Aussie bacon! 
 
We’ll be making as much noise as possible in the weeks leading up to International Bacon Day (more on that soon) and we’d love for you to get on board by showcasing Aussie bacon on your menus.  Either by shining a light on any of your dishes that feature Aussie bacon or heroing a feature dish for the week leading up to International Bacon Day.
